Fog Of War

I have been wanting to call the latest collection of swims the “Fog Of War” for a while. At the time, I was just looking for a catchy title to record my battle with the Hong Kong winter elements.

Like many, I was of course aware of the threat of war in Ukraine but I too dismissed it as the fevered dreams of a waning autocrat. Sadly, the nightmare has become reality.

Ukraine is one of the five largest supply countries for all seafarers. With that in mind, this post is dedicated to our Ukrainian seafarers. May they soon be reunited with their families, in freedom and safety. This post is also a call to charitable arms. The Mission to Seafarers — and other charities — will require your help more than ever. The donation link appears below. Finally, this is a plea for clemency and understanding towards the countless Russian seafarers out there. They did not choose this war and they should not be defined by it.

Watch the videos, like the post, subscribe to the page, tell everyone about it, and donate to The Mission to Seafarers:-
